Ottawa: Was about learning a coaching process and being with inspiring people.

Integral Coaching Course:

I'm inspired! the course content and the people.

I shared an apartment with Najiba. She is very articulate and has a very keen intellect. A great sounding board, when it came to homework. I wasn't great in the metaphor department. YET!! I tell myself. Loved her company, and enthusiasm, when we finally had time to connect.

The course was intense with both theory and practical. There was no sitting on a cushion this time (9am till 6.30pm and then homework). This was no retreat. I learnt so much from this very inspiring group of 24 and our teacher, Steve.

We all now have 5 months of supported learning with 2 volunteer clients, a phone coach, video conferencing and a buddy coach. I didn't realise we would get this degree of ongoing support.

I can see the potential for me, when I return to "my real life". Not only applying many of the principles to my hockey coaching, which was my initial motivation, but coaching one on one clients????

    I did get to see a bit of Ottawa's beauty before the course started.

Lots of them, because I didn't want to miss anyone out. 

To explain the exuberant nature of us, it was the conclusion of a very intense 5 days. I think there is a lot of joy that comes from learning, authenticity, insights, growth and most of all connecting with others. Learning a process to help facilitate potential in others, inadvertently leads to a self exploratory process. Thus the joy. Well that's my take on it ???
