I Love San Fransisco: 3 weeks before I fly home.

Time to finish my blog: San Fransisco part 1

I have 3 weeks to go!
I flew from Toronto to San Francisco and the I drove down HWY 1 to Santa Barbara and then home.

21/10/15 : Part 1

I Love San Francisco!!

Another great Airbnb host. Marla was recommended by a chap I met at Charme Choling earlier on the trip. Great lady, great house close to the everything, and a gorgeous dog (bailie). I stayed 6 nights and enjoyed being a tourist. I find San Fransisco so interesting.

Bike trip over the Golden gate on a spectacular day, lunch at Sausalito, ferry back. Combining activity with sight seeing, is my thing.

A trip to Alcatraz. Fascinating place.

Peer 39 and the wharf. It was very buzzy, loved the street shows and musicians. I started doing some pressy shopping for family and friends. The plan buy a bag to get them back.

Sadly, I had a minor accident 5 mins after I picked up my rental car.Walking is much easier than me in a car, with no clue where I'm going and road work everywhere. I'm not sure who was at fault as we both merged into the same lane from opposite sides and didn't see each other. Full insurance, so I took some photos, reported and drive on.

The last day I drove to Stinson beach 1 hr north. A nice relaxing stroll along the beach and then seafood watching the sun go down.

San Fransisco bay: Fishermans wharf and Peer 39.

Toronto: A city of very tall buildings.

18th-21st October

Just over 2 months into my adventure.

I have continued to awake each morning and be excited about the day ahead. I am loving, not knowing what the day is going to present.

Toronto:

Jess, my new very vibrant young friend and I,  exhausted, took a bus from Ottawa to Toronto. Slept, chatted and of cause laughed a bit. Toronto is Jess's home town.

My airbnb host was a very delightful and particularly gorgeous, Jas. Luckily, our busy schedules did cross paths and we had  lovely conversations.  I hope we meet again, as I am very interested to see how Jas's life unfolds.

I spent my days walking, walking and more walking. I found the city very buzzy and the different districts very interesting.

I shopped, ate at a couple of really cool restraurants, lunch with Callayna (buddy) and had some much needed quiet time. Travelling for over 2 months, I have learnt the need to balance activity with quiet times.

Ground level, downtown Toronto.

Downtown Toronto.

I found this guy outside an upmarket shop.

I loved the architecture.

Very buzzy.

OMG.  39th, floor right in down town. Thus, feeling on top of the world.
